A week long workshop is being arranged at NUST Institute of IT, IBM-Linux Competency Center in partnership with IBM Pakistan on “IBM Lotus Notes and Domino-7 System Administration”.

IBM Lotus Software is the market leader in email and collaboration having 45000+ customers worldwide. With more than 130 million seats, Lotus notes is respected as one of the most scalable, reliable and secure collaboration and email platform. Lotus software experts are in high demand in Pakistan and globally because of its diverse & large customer base and excellent customization & Scalability features.

NUST Institute of IT is an IBM academic initiative partner and also a certified Novell training and certification partner. This workshop will cover contents necessary for Lotus Notes/Domino System Administration certification Exam N7D750 , N7D770 and N7D760 .

Workshop Contents

The hands-on workshop will include the following modules:-

• Domino architecture
• Set up, installation, configuring, and monitoring servers
• Defining, configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting mail routing
• Managing users, groups, Notes and non-Notes clients
• Monitoring databases
• Set up and monitoring replication
• Security Implementation

• N7D750 -IBM Lotus Domino 7 System Administration
  Operating Fundamentals (One Day)
• N7D770 -Managing IBM Lotus Domino 7
  Servers & Users (Two Days)
• N7D760 - Building the IBM Lotus Domino 7
  Infrastructure (Two Days)

Instructors : Course will be conducted by IBM Certified Lotus Instructor.

All participants are required to submit Rs. 5,000/- (Rs 500/- for NUST students) as Registration fee through Bank Draft or Cash. Pay Order should be in favour of "NUST-SEECS Consultancy Fund" Account # 400110004325. The Bank Draft or Pay Order must reach NUST-SEECS Information Office (by hand or through courier) with following address before 20th March, 2008.
